They just need the hole for the bolt redrilled to match the stock springs. 55-57 are the same way. Other wise they are bolt in. The S-10 needs the perches removed and moved out and rewelded. I am not sure about the 10 bolt pad width but for a sf 9.5 inch the pad width is 42.5 inches and a ff 10.5 inch is 40.5 inches. i am guessing it will be the sf in that 86 4x2. my 3/4 ton 86 4x4 had a 95 inch sf and i just swapped it with a ff and had to cut and move the perches in. 1986 k20.
