They're not as fancy as the actual Dryrobe but absolutely brilliant for getting changed at the side of a lake/beach or for throwing on over a wetsuit if changing isn't a priority. WebA dry robe is usually wind and waterproof based on what I've found and can double up as a jacket/coat, so you're carrying less. They also have the option for a long sleeve (I can't see this on the ponchos you've shared). You can (supposedly) keep your wet gear on underneath if you want or keep the dry robe on after you've changed.
