WebSep 22, 2014 · Options. 09-22-2014 09:59 AM. i recently bought the asus gtx 760 direct cu II. the GPU is making a whine sound (coil whine) that is even going through my headset. i tried few different PSU and its not the PSU. the whine only appears in 3D applications and the pitch is affected by frame rate. *i know turning v-sync on improves the problem.
