WebJul 8, 2024 · Setting the files to read-only worked great. At least I don't have to delete the files every time I want to launch the game. Thanks a lot! I also had to delete the Occulus and SteamVR plugins so the VR stuff doesn't pop up and complain about it crashing when I don't want to play in VR in the first place.
