Increasing Professional Effectiveness” that would define how people plan out and then take and review their actions. Two contrasting theories of action are formed unknowingly in most people; theories-in-use WebbArgyris' theory and methodology of intervention, though not grounded in detailed empirical researches on intervention, are designed to locate areas of needed research, to recruit empirical researchers, and to brief them in their two-fold roles: (I) as interventionists and (2) as researchers into the processes and human consequences of their own interventions.
